APPLICATIONS Imparting water repellency to porous construction materials such as concrete, bricks, stone, concrete blocks, mortar, grout, limestone pavers, unglazed tile, and terra cotta. TYPICAL PROPERTIES Milky-white, free-flowing liquid DESCRIPTION TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 water repellant emulsion is a silicone water repellent that imparts penetrating water repellency for treatment of concrete, masonry and stone construction materials. HOW TO USE Ensure the concrete or area to be sprayed is clean and dry before application. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry for at least 24 hours or until it appears visually dry. TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 should be applied using a low pressure sprayer, roller with 1.25” nap, brush, or power sprayer. It is best to spray the area lightly or until it is wet to break the surface tension, then apply a heavier rate. While using TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 on vertical surfaces, it should be applied from the base up. Always test TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 on an inconspicuous area before applying to total surface area. Do not apply when rain is forecast. Coverage rates depend on the porosity, texture and dryness of the surface to be treated, but can range from 175 ft2 to 250ft2. Any overspray can be removed with a damp cloth. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS Product safety information required for safe use is not included in this document. PACKAGING TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 is supplied in a 5 gallon pail. LIMITATIONS TRUE SHIELD™ TSC–1100 is not suitable for very low-porosity substrates such as polished stone.
